CGN Staff

Kurtis Constantine (Nyte) - Administrator-in-Chief

Kurtis lives with his wife, new-born son, and dog in the reclusive suburban hills of Herriman, Utah. He is a business consultant by day and amateur web-developer by night. He served in the US Air Force Reserves for 10 years; 6 years in Security Police and 4 years in the Office of Special Investigations.

Kurtis' first online game was Pimp Wars (1990), a wonderful, wholesome "MMO" for a 14-year old child. Kurtis started using the handle "Nyte Vysion" in 1994. In Asheron's Call (1999), he became "Nyte Myst," and has been known as "Nyte" since World of Warcraft (2004).

Some of his favorite games include Dark Castle, Scarab of Ra, the Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear, Top Gun, Police Quest series, Prince of Persia series, Asheron's Call, Star Wars Galaxies (pre-JLS/NG), The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Battlefield series, The Orange Box (Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal), and so many more...

Kurtis is currently playing the beta for Pirates of the Burning Sea.

Matt Riggsbee (Psythe) - Director of Web Production

Psythe started playing video games when he was 6. When his Dad brought home the Atari 2600 with Combat and Pac-Man it was a done deal. 25 years later he's still playing, constantly. A professional web designer/developer to pay the bills, and an avid MMO player in his free time.

The first MMO he ever played was Anarchy Online, and still claims it is his favorite. Other notables include World of Warcraft, Earth and Beyond, Star Wars Galaxies, EVE Online, Guild Wars, Matrix Online, Final Fantasy XI, and Lineage II among others.

His favorite game of all time is the Half Life 2 series, with Anarchy Online and Xenogears(PS1) coming in a close second. Oh and Unreal Tournament...and Sanitarium...and The Dig...and Starcraft...and World of Warcraft...and there really isn't enough room here. Get him talking about the best games of all time and you won't get him to shut up!

Psythe currently rolls two 70 Rogues in Blizzard's World of Warcraft with a Shadow Priest on the way.

Martin Hult (Greve) - Associate Designer / Community Manager

Martin is 21 and hails from Gothenburg, Sweden. His career as a web designer started when he was about 10-11 years old. His first site was black, had a lot of flames and a few spinning skulls gifs - remember those? (Remember, every "cool" site had them back in the 90's.)

He's improved quite a bit since then, and brought his simple, clean - yet powerful - design concepts to the Cry Gaia Network.

While he loves to design and code homepages it doesn't pay the bills - so he works the graveyard shift at DHL as a package handler (11pm-6am every day - except the weekends of course). It's a heavy, dirty and very tiring job, but unlike the web designer gigs it actually pays the bills.

Martin has been playing MMO's as long as he can remember - not quite, but saying stuff like that adds drama to his bio - and his first MMO was Ultima Online (1999), and a myriad of titles from then, including: Anarchy Online, City of Heroes, Eve: Online and of course World of Warcraft. All in all a gamer at heart.

Martin is currently playing World of Warcraft on the Kor'gall server.

Yume (formerly Rick MG) - Agent Provocateur

Yume (formerly known as Rick MG) is surrounded by kangaroos and dreamtime, and is closer to the South Pole than Roald Amundsen and the CGN team (this may not be a good thing).

34-years-old, he returned to university this year to complete a degree in publishing and to escape the Real World. He writes fiction (nothing published yet) and is also a veteran writer for the Daily Grail website, where he gets to indulge in his lifelong passions for archaeology, mythology & foklore, the paranormal, UFOs, life, the universe and everything.

With fond memories of the Golden Days of tabletop RPGS (the 1980s), Rick's favourite computer games are Dreamfall and Half-Life 2, and he enjoys shapeshifting into a cat or bear in World of Warcraft.

Rick's role at CGN is Top Secret and requires Code Indigo authorisation. There is no Yume.

Icoyce - Managing Editor

Gregory Duplat (Altair) - Community Relations

Gregory is 29, plays video games since the old days of Snake on Atari. He's living a swanky bachelor's life in Alsdorf, Germany while working as an indie game developer. He's also speaks German and French and has worked jobs from telemarketing to truck driver.

Gregory has played MMOs like Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, Star Wars Galaxies and World of Warcraft.

His top 5 video games are Operation Flashpoint, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy), Mafia, Deus Ex and the GTA series, in no particular order.
